The Setting Apart of Two Deaconesses in the Diocese of Fort Worth

On Sunday, May 18, 2024, the first two Deaconesses in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth (ACNA), Dss. Lenore Rothman and Dss. Mandy Williams, were Set Apart by The Rt. Rev. Ryan Reed, in the context of Choral Evensong. The service took place at St. Laurence Anglican Church, Southlake, TX . In attendance were two Reformed Episcopal Deaconesses, Dss. Canon Annette Johnson and Dss. Jill Nowell. Dss. Jill was invited to be one of the readers for the service. Below is a link to the Facebook video of this historic event, followed by a photo:
